With a generous donation by patron Elizabeth Bernstein the library purchased materials for new book bins which were constructed as a project by CVU industrial arts students under the direction of library board member and Olaf Verdonk. The students produced very professional looking bins which give greater visibility to the colorful picture books.

The walls were scraped and sanded and spackled and freshly painted by the librarian assisted by several volunteers. The result is a brighter more usable area for the children to select and read picture books.
